Also, throughout the year CairnGorm Mountain plays host to a range of art exhibitions displaying works from a range of local Scottish artists and photographers from throughout Aviemore and the Cairngorms National Park. Many of the works are for sale. Entry is free.

CairnGorm Mountain is always interested in hearing form artists who wish to display their work. Please contact Helen Wink for more details.

Photographic Exhibition - The Big Freeze 2010
Photographers - Staff & Friends of CairnGorm Mountain
Location - T-Bar Gallery at CairnGorm Mountain

In 2010 CairnGorm Mountain experienced its heaviest snowfall for many years. The staff worked long and hard to ensure that the road was kept open and the tows ran for the public. The Big Freeze is an exhibition of photographs taken by staff during their working day and provides a fascinating insight into the behind the scenes winter operation at CairnGorm Mountain. Some quotes from visitors to the exhibition so far:

" Seeing is believing".....
" A great idea and a brilliant record of an amazing winter"

Jane Lannagan Exhibition
