Ski Patrol
CairnGorm Ski Patrol are a dedicated team who route mark all the available ski runs and ensure that safety notices, warning and directional signs are in place. The patrol team are a highly trained team and provide emergency medical response for visitors undertaking activities within the ski area boundary.
Ski Patrollers are highly visible out and about on the mountain in red and black jackets with a white cross on their backs. They are contactable via any member of staff. Please always pass on as much detail as possible including location of injured person and the nature of the injury. There are 2 dedicated patrol points on the mountain - in the Base Station (car park level) and in the Top Station (top of the railway). We would ask all snow sport users at CairnGorm Mountain to obey all signs, piste markers and only enter roped off areas through designated gates, failure to do so may result in the removal of tickets or passes.
The Ski Patrol work closely with various organisations to promote mountain safety and first aid in the mountain environment, opportunities may be given to individuals or groups who have a pre hospital care background and wish to gain experience in these areas.
