Repair Workshop

Ski and Board Service Workshop facilities are available from the Workshop on Level 3 of the Day Lodge. We offer various services from a full service to waxing. Our skilled technicians use a new Wintersteiger state of the art machine to give you the perfect finish. We offer season pass holders 10% off any of our level of services. Customers are also able to purchase various items from us such as wax, leashes, stomp pads, etc.

Hire Equipment

We have a full range of snowsports equipment for hire supplied by Head and Salomon UK. The equipment we have available for hire includes: skis, boots, snowboards, poles, helmets and outer clothing, trousers and jackets.

All the equipment is fully maintained and serviced by internationally qualified technicians. A deposit is required when you hire snowsports equipment at CairnGorm Mountain - see below. At peak holiday periods CairnGorm Mountain can run out of equipment so please arrive early (before 9am).

Stock Range

Ski Boots

120 pairs of kids boots from size 7.5 to 3.5

340 pairs adult boots from 3.5 to size 16!

Skis

Over 300 sets from as small as 80cm up to 177cm.

We have a variety of performance skis available for hire.

Snowboarding

Boots: 185 pairs from size 13 kids to size 16 adult

Boards: 115 boards in total ranging from size 110cm - 166cm  (goofy and regular).

We provide wide boards in some of the larger size boards.

Holidays and Ski School

During peak holiday periods like Christmas, New Year, February Half Term and Easter there is high demand for all equipment. Priority is given to customers booked into lessons with the Ski School (08455 191 191). If you require hire we advise customers to be on site at 8am during these holiday periods as demand can exceed supply.

Injury Prevention

CairnGorm Mountain offer free helmets with all ski hire that is purchased from us. Children under 13 must wear a helmet.

Paying for and Collecting Ski and Snowboard Equipment

If you are wanting to hire equipment please go straight to Level 3 in the Day Lodge. We will take payment and give you all your equipment there.  We have changed the customer flow to try to make it quicker and easier for our customers. Please come to Ski Hire, queue for the benches and collect your ski equipment. Our ski technicians will show you our Ticket Office where you will pay on exit. If you are in a Ski School Lesson please come straight in and go to the Ski School desk.

*The technicians do also need your height and weight for ski hire - if you can make a note of this before arrival it will make the process quicker.
