There are many great places to get ski lessons and snowboard lessons across the UK. However, can anywhere really compare with the beauty of CairnGorm Mountain, skiing in the Scottish Highlands, while you’re guided by some of the best ski instructors in the business?
The Ski and Snowboard School in Aviemore, Scotland, welcomes everyone whether you are five or 65 and whether you are a beginner or something of an expert. It is operated by Amanda and Mike Shepherd and is a member of the BASI Quality Assurance Scheme meeting the quality and safety standards needed for use of the Cairngorms National Park brand.
Among the tuition available are group lessons for skiing and snowboarding every day over the winter period for those aged eight and above. During the February half-term period, and on certain days during the Christmas and Easter holidays, ski lessons are also offered to those aged five and above with daily and multi day packages incorporating four hours’ instruction, equipment hire and a lift pass for each day.
Alternatively, you could opt for a two day ski and snowboard course for beginners or intermediates. They run for certain dates throughout the season and by booking one of these courses you can benefit from reduced rates. There are also courses available in performance, freestyle and ski and snowboard touring.
However, if you’re simply looking to maximise your time or get a group of family and friends together for a private lesson then you could select from two, three or four sessions with Snowlimit weekend courses providing a quality ski and snowboard programme dedicated to local children from the age of five and above.
