Please note, the Funicular Railway will be closed for essential maintenance (with the Top Station facilities unavailable for walkers) until the 4th July 2018. During this period, the Day Lodge, Storehouse & Outfitters will still be open and we will be offering a selection of alternative guided walks on the lower slopes.

Eat, Drink & Relax

There are two main catering sites at CairnGorm Mountain. The Cas Bar sits on the ground level of the Daylodge Building and the Ptarmigan Restaurant and Bar sits in the Top Station at over 3,500ft.

Cas Bar

On chilly days you will find a real log fire burning in the Cas Bar. Mulled wine, coffees and home baking are available daily. There is also soup, sandwiches and homemade pies available for those looking to stop in for lunch. We are currently working on an exciting refurbishment project which will see the Cas Bar replaced by a new Storehouse offering on level 2 of the Day Lodge Building. Once complete the Storehouse will have a seating capacity of 120 and our own Starbucks offering.

Ptarmigan Restaurant & Bar

The Ptarmigan Restaurant boasts phenomenal, panoramic views of Loch Morlich and the surrounding area from over 3,500ft. There is also access onto a viewing terrace, where you can experience the wild mountain environment. The food is prepared using local produce and ingredients where possible and the servery menu changes daily to include a variety of old favorites. Vegetarian and gluten-free options are also available daily.
